Terms and Conditions

Cottage Road Cinema is a trading name of Regal Cinema (Lancaster) LTD.

General Terms of Admission
The management reserve the right to refuse admission to the premises at its sole discretion.

We may ask any ticket holder to leave the premises.

Scheduled performances are subject to change, cancellation or substitution for an alternative film or time slot without notice or warning.

We reserve the right to perform random security checks of bags at any time where we feel there could be a threat to public or staff safety or our property.

Complimentary or guest tickets may be cancelled or suspended at any time and without notice.

Admission remains at the sole discretion of the cinema manager.

Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets may be exchanged at our discretion for a different performance when notified and executed more than two hours before the original purchased screening time. There may be an administrative fee payable for against any exchanges and any price difference must be paid by the customer.

Booking fees are not refundable under any circumstance.

Food, drink and refreshments are non-refundable.

Should we make an exception to our refund policy this is at the sole discretion of the cinema manager.

Advance Booking
Advance purchased tickets are non-refundable.

A non-refundable booking fee of 50p per ticket will be charged at the point of booking via telephone and online services.

We reserve the right to rearrange seat allocations for any reason including to fill any gaps left, should any seat become unusable.

Online bookings are also subject to the terms and conditions set out by our ticketing provider Jack Roe (CS) Ltd. which can be read and accepted during the online booking process.

Film Classification
Entry is subject to BBFC rules and we may ask to see official photographic ID before admission or at any time after admission.

U: Universal and may be viewed by all
PG: Parental Guidance, unaccompanied children may watch the film but with permission from a parent or guardian.
12a: Children under 12 must be accompanied to the viewing with a responsible adult.
15: Children under 15 will not be admitted.
18: Children under 18 will not be admitted.

Ticket pricing and concessions
We reserve the right to increase our ticket prices at any time without notice or warning.

We offer a number of concession tickets which are outlined below. We may ask for proof of entitlement:
Senior: Of UK state pension age.
Student: Holding a valid NUS/Totem card.
Child: Ages 14 or under.

We reserve the right suspend any concessionary tickets at any time.

Matinee prices or those advertised as ‘before 5pm’ refer to the screening time, not the time of purchase.

If you are unable to produce proof of entitlement for concessionary tickets a full priced replacement must be purchased.

Alcohol
Alcohol is served under the terms of our licence and at the sole discretion of the personal licence holder who may wish to delegate discretion to any of our staff.

We operate a strict ‘check 21 scheme’ and we may ask for official photographic ID if we feel you look under 21.

We reserve the right to not serve alcohol to any persons for any reason.

Alcohol not served by our staff is not permitted in our premises whether it is intended to be consumed or not.

Alcohol sold by our staff must not leave the premises, we are not an off-licence.

Food and drink
Food and drink purchased externally may not be consumed in our auditorium.
